Resources For All Caregivers
Kootenai Health values career development and invests in caregivers to help them reach their goals.
- Tuition assistance of up to $5,200 annually is available to caregivers following their first 90 days.
- Teams may provide opportunities to complete optional certifications and classes or attend learning events or conferences.
- Kootenai Health University, offered by Culture and Learning, provides learning and development programs that equip caregivers with the tools and skills needed to be highly effective, engaged, and ready to provide exceptional patient-focused care.
- Kootenai Health offers more than 20 internal courses and programs at no cost to caregivers, like our Leadership Essentials and Leadership Management courses.
- Caregivers also have access to customized training, coaching, and professional development planning.
For Providers
The Kootenai Clinic Family Medicine Residency is a three-year program affiliated with the University of Washington Family Medicine Residency Network. It prepares new physician graduates for family practice.
For Nursing Team Members
The Nursing Professional Development opportunities at Kootenai Health provide nurses with hands-on learning, mentorship, and structured growth experiences within a collaborative, team-based health system.
