A Step-by-Step Guide
1. Apply Online
- Create an account online
- Review openings that best match your career pathway, experience, and education. You can filter, save, review, and apply for job openings. Still deciding which path is available/would be best for you? Contact us at careers@kh.org to discuss options with a Talent Acquisition Consultant.

- Complete the step-by-step application process to submit your application for each position you are interested in. Applications take an average of five to 15 minutes to complete.
- Upon completion of the application, you will receive an email confirmation that your application has been received.
- Not ready to apply? We encourage you to join our talent community and share your information with us so we can contact you when we have opportunities that are aligned with your interests.
- If your initial application was not through the Kootenai Health Careers website (example: Indeed), you will need to formally apply to a position prior to an offer.
2. New Application Review and Prescreen
- A member of the Talent Acquisition team will review your application. If there is a match between your credentials and the position you have applied for, a talent team member will contact you by telephone or email to discuss the position or initiate a SparkHire video interview.
- Applicants who meet position qualifications, have the required experience, and are a position fit may advance to the hiring leader interview. If not a match for the position, applicants will receive additional information about position needs and can review other possibilities with a talent team member.
- To learn the status of your application, you can log into your account. Your dashboard will display all the positions you’ve applied for and the status of each application.
